Our rest homes may not be the biggest and boldest, but the hearts and passion of our caregivers is second to none. From the owner David to all our nurses and caregivers, we genuinely feel the sense of belonging and togetherness that only a loving home can provide.
■ Personalised Care
Everyone is different, with different wants, needs and required level of care. At Victoria Resthomes we assign specific caregivers to individual residents to maximise the resident’s health and happiness. We monitor and assess each resident’s wellbeing on a daily basis, and adjust caregivers and support as required.
■ 24/7 Onsite Nurse
At Victoria Resthomes we understand the importance of having medical professionals available around the clock, which is why we have a registered nurse onsite and available 24/7. When it comes to the health and wellbeing of our residents, we leave nothing to chance.
■ Great Food
Food and dietary requirements are integral part of a happy and healthy life. Our head chef and kitchen team work closely with our nurses and caregivers to ensure all meals are healthy, nutritious and tasty, and that they align with the dietary requirements of each resident. Asian, European and fusion meals make up our weekly menu.
■ Cultural Diversity
We celebrate life's diversity, and welcome all cultures and ethnicities to our resthomes. Our staff and residents come from many varied backgrounds. At Victoria Resthomes you will hear a multitude of languages form Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Hindi and Tongan. We are all learning about each other’s cultures in a loving and supportive environment.
■ Transportation
When a resident is joining us for the first time we are happy to assist with their move. We can provide complimentary transport to one of our Victoria Resthomes free of charge. Likewise, if it’s a medical appointment that a resident requires, we cover the costs to and from the appointment using our mobility transportation partner Top Care.
